Option 2: Describe a classroom activity that involves students encoding and decoding data. With my year 3/4 class this year I will do an activity where they learn to sign their name using AUSLAN alphabet. An extension on this will be they think of a secret word then sign it to a friend and the friend decodes it using the AUSLAN reference sheet if it is needed.
