If I was hosting a professional development session for my colleagues, I would run an activity that
centres on meaningful interactions with data relevant to our school context based on data available at https://data.nsw.gov.au/. The focus here would be on data that would be useful for our school in terms of improving outcomes for students.
Teachers could be provided with guiding questions and/or develop their own line of inquiry. This could involve teachers creating and discussing their driving question in teams, analysing and collating the data and presenting their findings.
