Use a text with a looping text such as “There was an old lady who swallowed a mozzie” for students to create an algorithm with sequencing cards. These could be prepared for K -2, or have older students create own using symbols, words or pictures. Younger students could use LEGO bricks with a different colour representing each part of the text and explore how to use less blocks by combining or creating a new option that represents more than 1 part of the code.
