Option 3: A history inquiry that I have explored with Year 2/3 students is 'how have changes in technology shaped our daily lives?' Our team of teachers set up a museum of "old technology" for students to explore and we also took them on an excursion to Hagley Farm School in Northern Tasmania for some 'hands-on' experience of past technologies including using washboards, a mangle and flat irons, grinding wheat to make flour, role playing school and exploring the agricultural museum. It made me feel old to see them guessing what some of the equipment may have been used for! #cserTask4Heritage – Hagley Farm School
