Task 3: Data – Representation, Option 2:

For the early years children could learn how to retell a story by using Pie Corbett's Talk for Writing method.
The story is written down on a story map and the children learn the words and the hand gestures that go with each section of the story by using both the story map and the teacher's modelling as a guide.
I found this picture of a story map based on the Gruffalo on Pinterest, but this could be done with many familiar texts. #cserTask3
