I'm about to revisit the spelling rules we've looked at this term in my Grade 2 using an idea I learnt about at a Kath Murdoch Inquiry workshop early this year. Flow charts in spelling! The idea is to use the flow chart to determine the rules and put words through the algorithm to see if they fit. It seems to really cement the spelling rules for the students.
