Task 7
Option 1: Design a classroom activity that uses an existing Scratch game and that focuses either on (a) understanding the Scratch program or (b) modifying the Scratch program.

The students start off by completing all the basic tutorials, see link. I then ask them to complete a study of a number of games that they have used before eg Donkey Kong, Pac Man etc. As a group the students go through the steps and create a simple cat and mouse game. The students are then required to personalise this game adding or changing features including colour movements and sounds.
