Option 2: Activity that explores sequences of instructions.
This is an activity that I would like to use as part of a Stage 4 textiles unit, but it could be done on a simpler scale for younger stages. After students had learnt how to complete the various construction techniques needed to create a simple project eg bag or boxer shorts. Students could be asked carefully examine a finished example and then come up with a sequence of steps to make the project from the beginning.
