Currently one of my grade 10 STEM students is developing several scratch games. Together we plan to go into one of the primary classes (mostly grade 3/4). We plan to show them the games that he developed. In small groups of students, they will play the game that he has created. They will then have to make some changes to the scratch game to change the objective. Depending on the game, will depend on the changes they will have to make to the Scratch block code.
