Students were asked to investigate the area of rectangular cupcake tray. 1 side and 1 width of the tray needed to add up to total of 50 cm. They needed to create a table in excel, with the columns including the tray side length, tray width length and the total area that it makes. Students were then asked to create a graph and to describe the pattern or trends that they noticed in the data.
