P Smith▸ Task 1: Introducing DTs
I recently visited the Tas University with my Grade 5 students as part of the Dream BIG program. While there the agriculture section shared some digital technology that they use to monitor cows and to assist with dairy farming. We saw how by the cows wearing solar powered collars the research team could monitor the cows resting, eating and movement patterns. We also saw some experimental work around digital fencing.
Everyone was intrigued, especially the student who is helping to fence this weekend. Possibilities….
