I am interested in the farming/agricultural business and how they use digital technology to improve crop growth. Devices such as the latest GreenStar model (4640) allows for farmers to monitor fuel and chemical usage and the layout of land using satellite locations. This technology has changed over time and now has improved data capture, accurate section controlled performance and documentation as well as enhanced data merging capabilities, to deliver more on-board and off-board flexibility. It requires you to enter specific details relating to your property in order to function.

Living and teaching in a town where farming is common, I think this is an area that my students would also be interested in. Many of them could make that real-world connection.
