I found this interesting little site that deals with kids aged 6-12 and their rate of participation in sporting activities which was tracked over a number of years. The data is represented in a graph and provides good material for student to analyse and a good foundation on which to base a discussion on diet, health and physical activity for students. This would be a great start for an activity where students then graph their own class data and make comparisons.
