As an art teacher and the digitech co-ordinator, I was fascinated by the way digital technologies were being used to create art at a recent visit to the NGV. There are many examples of 3D printers being used to produce parts and together create a whole art piece such as chairs. I was also interested in the way Tom Crago created a virtual world to display art. The art curator discussed how as educators we can guide students to do this through using a program called Unity.
