Option 3:
Get students to look at the role of technology in their everyday lives. Students should look at everything they do, from waking up in the morning, to going to bed at night and map every use of technology in their lives.
Example:
– How do you wake up in the morning? Do you have a digital alarm clock, or use an alarm on a device?
Students then need to consider what life was like before these technologies and draw a comparison from the past.
Example:
– In the past people would have used an alarm on an analogue clock which would have had to be wound up each day.
