I’ve seen (as I’m sure you all have) a very clear overlap between numeracy (mapping, directions) and algorithms in digital technologies. Our school has a teacher for explicit digital technologies instruction, however I would love to incorporate digital technologies programming devices such as Bee Bots into my classroom practice this year. Bee Bots are a great way to use visual programming in a real world scenario where they can test their directions (algorithms) and change as needed.
