Option 2: In this activity, students design a set of symbols to represent movement in order to move a peer around a set course. In order to complete the course, the student must list a set of instructions using their own symbols to guide a peer safely around the course.
Extension: What are the fewest symbols possible to complete the course?
Reflection: What symbols were hardest to represent and what were the easiest movements to represent?
