Therapists, teachers, caregivers of people with complex communication needs are able to enter data based on a set of predefined questions which then presents the information in visual way and clearly shows which communicative functions are areas of strength and those for development in the form of a matrix. This information can then be used to inform planning for further learning activities and opportunities. The information is also able to be emailed to others in the persons 'care team', and is also saved so that at the next assessment growth is clearly visible – so information is able to be compared longitudinally as well as a snapshot.
