many children do not realise that car mechanics use a lot of digital tech. In fact modern cars have lights which are on the dash to warn of what is wrong with the car. Getting children into conversations with their parents about this is a great exercise and involves some really deep learning. It can lead to parents talking about changes that have happened in their life, discussions with grandparents and discussions about the future. Children love to talk about things that went wrong with the car! It also engages a lot of children who would otherwise think that digital tech is not for them.
