Task 6: Algorithms and Programming- Option 2

My Year 1/2 students have used Bee-Bots to spell out chosen sight words using a large alphabet grid. Once a student has chosen a sight word, they use command cards to create an algorithm, which they then use to program a Bee-Bot. The student then places the Bee-Bot on the grid and observes whether the Bee-Bot moves in the correct sequence to spell their word. If the student observes that the Bee-Bot did not reach each letter in the correct sequence, they then go back to their algorithm and try and work out where the error occurred and try to adjust their algorithm by adding or changing the command cards where needed. #cserTask6
