Option 3: 
I would use this at the beginning of the year to inform students of classroom management, rules and regulations. I would write on one side of the board a list of the most frequent questions/problems that come about during the year e.g. my pencil broke, I lost my hat, I left my lunchbox outside, johnny is annoying me, I forgot my homework, I have finished my work I cant find x. On the other side I would model a flow chart for the students on steps they could take to fix the problem before coming to the teacher. 
I would then group the students in pairs or threes and ask them to make a flow chart for one of the problems/questions. I would then display these to help students though out the year.
