Option 2: Sequencing of Instructions.
In previous years I have used an activity with middle primary children on writing a procedural text. It followed closely the human robot "Jam sandwich" maker from module 6.4. They were told they had received a brand new robot to do all their chores around the house, they catch was it had no stored memory. They had to write a set of instructions for the robot to follow to perform the tasks. The children then wrote procedures for washing the dishes (no dishwasher allowed), doing the laundry and emptying the rubbish.
They then read their instructions to a friend who acted then out so they could see any 'gaps' in their instructions. #csertask6
