Johanna Emptage▸ F-6 Digital Technologies MOOC

This website talks about the use of video games as teaching tools and about a competition which encourages children to design and code their own games. The use of communication, collaboration problem solving and computer thinking are important skills for our students to learn. The video of Matthew Peterson from the Mind Research Institute emphasises the importance of teaching maths through visual means – without words. My school has many English as a Second Language students and this way of presenting and teaching maths concepts without words is amazing.#cserTask1
