My Year 6 class collected and collated data during a recent activity. We rolled Maltesers down a 30cm ruler and measured how far they travelled. Discussions included different hypotheses on how to ensure the data could be compared fairly. For instance, was the surface the same, the incline and even the shape of the Malteser. Very thought provoking discussions were held. It was also a delicious activity!
