Eric Land▸ F-6 Digital Technologies MOOC

I am always at a loss of where to start when asked to share an idea for educational technology.

I think the best thing to do rather than share an idea or a bit of educational technology is to share a few frameworks for thinking about it.

The first is the SAMR model developed by Ruben Puentedura.  SAMR looks at phases or stages of pedagogy that incorporates technology.

The second is TPACK developed from an earlier model called PCK it allows a discussion or framework on the integrated nature of technological, pedagogical and content knowledge that makes up modern teaching.

Have a look at:
http://www.tpack.org/

And finally, a recent article that was sent to me from  friend, via Google Plus that is a bit critical of both systems of thinking.

I also like the look of SrcratchJr and eagerly await its release.
